Have your say on Cockerham Neighbourhood Plan application

posted 20 Apr 2015, 15:26 by Cockerham Web   [ updated 20 Apr 2015, 15:29 ]
Lancaster City Council would like your views to help inform a decision on a neighbourhood plan application from Cockerham Parish Council, this proposes that the plan will cover the whole parish area.

A neighbourhood plan would give Cockerham the chance to decide where new development should be and what it should look like. For example, new homes, shops and offices. A plan must be in line with the District’s Local Plan and is subject to an independent examination and community referendum. If approved, a neighbourhood plan would form part of the district’s Local Plan and would be used to help make decisions on planning applications.

The copies of the application are included below. They are also available in The Parish Hall, The Manor Inn and Cockerham Garage. You can also view the application at http://www.lancaster.gov.uk/planningpolicy.
